New Bling for Sportster

Well down on mileage this year, mixture of bad weather when I want to go, and The Sturgis sapping cash from my anorexic cash flow... But got a new bit of bling for the Sporty off ebay, and a bargain,.....

Bad Mileage this year so far

This time last year I had done over 3,000 miles by now, this year I'm only up to 1,300 between both bikes... Fuck where is this so called global warming bring it on....!!!!

Bad Bad, been neglecting the Sporty

Been enjoying riding around on the Sturgis so much, been neglecting the Sportster, well the Sturgis is sick again, now have to do a bit of licking up to the Sporty she starts first time every time, and soo much fun to ride the Dyna may have the power but the Sportster has the fun factor.....

Mad March Weather

28°C in the garage a couple of days ago and yesterday was cracking took a ride into the North (N.Ireland), what a feckin great ride 140 miles of pure enjoyment, stopped many spots but the nicest was a wee town Called Castlefinn back in the South, there was great spots in the North but errr as usual forgot to photograph, "could we be in for a warm summer"

Weather been freakishly mild took a wee late run out nice sunset photo....

New front tyre, Forks polishing

Needed a new front tyre, so took the opportunity to final finish removing lacquer from the front forks and polish, well pleased with the outcome...

Bored over winter so decided to respray old lidl helmet, first time doing this nearly finished just putting back together, harder than it came apart.....

Bad Start to New Year

Got out on my first ride out this year, very mild wee bit windy but ok, parked the Sportster in the garage only to notice large chunk of paint had come of the rear mud guard, well a bit chipped off, knew it was on it's way seen the bubbled paint a while back, so now got to get it repaired, going to have to be a DIY cant afford a painter.

Well another year....

Another year passes, this time last year I was snowed in no getting out on the bike, this January it is high winds that are stopping me getting out, over the past few days over 105 MPH been hard to even get in the garage as it faces the glen and the wind cuts straight across from the mountain to the front of the house....

Oh well let's hope the year ahead will be full of biking miles.
