Another Sunday Ride Out

The weather was promised but from the start out it was a wee bit dull, but as the day went on it came to be a cracking day, took a trip down to Ramelton and then back up to Donegal Town via Barnesmore Gap.

(a description from a website): These are rugged and gaunt grey mountains which, from a distance, give off a hue of blue, and for three miles on either side the traveller is between massive cliffs and yawning rents cut by streams racing down the mountain and falling into the noisy Lowerymore river. This river keeps company with the main road as far as Lough Eske where it joins the River Eske. (also not my photo too busy riding through)

Donegal Town , great turn out of bikes got even busier after the photo was taken

Ireland's Most Northerly Point

Finally a break in the weather took a ride up to the Malin Head Ireland's Most Northerly Point, great day it very high up 22M above mean sea level, the Tower, which was built in 1805 as.a Lloyds Signal Station.

In its early days this was a major news link between America and Europe you could take a walk along the cliff top to Hell's Hole, a subterranean cavern into which the tide explodes with a tremendous force.

Charity & Rain

Went on my first charity run last weekend, never been into them always avoided, but went along, and, probably the last, I never seen the point are we as bikers trying to make people like us by doing this if so why, the citizens already have made their minds up and no charity or toy run will change their minds.
also to make it worse it pissed down all day...!!!

I am what I am, take me that way or feck off. I dont need to prove who I am....????/

Isle of Doagh

Wee ride out to the Isle of Doagh, not much of the castle left a very hidden place away from the main roads.
Not many tourists find this place, well not too many locals know it either..just surfers and walkers, oh and the odd biker..

Roaring Meg Custom Show

Took a ride into Derry for Roaring Meg Custom Show on the City Walls, as usual the weather was shite, but a nice turn out of bikes
